MONROE — The Cheese Days Store will be open with special holiday shopping hours including: Friday, Dec. 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
New in the store will be custom pewter ornaments showing Monroe’s most iconic landmark, the Historic Green County Courthouse. Also in stock are T-shirts (long or short sleeve) with an ode to Monroe’s most iconic cheese: “Limburger – the cheese that made Monroe famous.” Wedgie, the Cheese Days mascot, says that a bobble head in his likeness would make a great stocking stuffer. In addition, a limited number of Red Wing collectible pie plates and pipkin pitchers are remaining from the 2018 festival.
The Cheese Days Store is located in the Courthouse in downtown Monroe at 1016-16th Avenue. Enter the basement door on the west side. Cash, check and credit cards are accepted; call in with a credit card order to have items shipped. Call 608-325-7771 to stop in at another time after Dec. 15.
