BROWNTOWN - Browntown Day will be celebrated on Sunday, June 28, "At the Garden Path," Wisconsin 11 and County M, Browntown.
McKenzie Chapman, 11, will sing with the Greg Anderson band. She is recovering successfully from last summer's accident and can resume her joy for singing. She has been featured on Medina, Minn. television, The Big Joe Polka Show, at churches and at Turner Hall.
The schedule of events includes entertainment, fire department display, lunch stand with malt trailer (bring your own chair):

10:30 a.m. - Ducky Race, sign up at Garden Path
11 a.m. - Opening ceremony with prayer by Pastor Ray Sowersby; pledge, welcome and singing of "God Bless America"
11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Flower garden and historic home tours (ride wagon and buy tickets $2 at Garden Path)
1 to 3 p.m. - Browntown museum open
1 p.m. - Make an herb basket with Tamara Schulte, master gardener
1:15 p.m. - Hometown musical talent
1:30 p.m.- The Kimbell Sisters featuring Browntown's own Shelly Welch
2 p.m. - Swiss canoe race and life jacket
2:30 p.m. - McKenzie Chapman and Greg Anderson
3 p.m. - Dog obedience 4-H demo Crysta Betchke, leader
3:30 p.m. - Line dancing with Pam Yeagle
If inclement weather, festivities will be held in the Civic Center at the fire station.
