MCCONNELL, Ill. - The Basswood Cemetery Association will hold its spring meeting at 7 p.m. May 27 at the old school house.
The association will be discussing bylaws, a possible date for a clean-up day and stones needing repair. Families are asked to check tombstones and have them repaired.
The association is also still collecting old photos of the Basswood church or of the cemetery, as well as obits for the Cemetery Book.
The event is open to the public.
