BRODHEAD - Brodhead United Methodist Church, 501 1st Center Ave., will host a CarFit event at noon Thursday, Oct. 31.
CarFit is an educational program that offers older adults the ability to check how well their personal car fits them.
At the event, a trained team of technicians work with each person to complete a multi-point inspection that includes the adjustment of mirrors to minimize blind spots and good foot positioning on the gas and brake pedals.
CarFit is supported by the AARP Driver Safety program and AAA.
The event will take about 20 minutes to complete. For more information, contact the Aging and Disability Resource Center at 608-328-9499.
