MONROE - The 2017 American Family Insurance Championship, in its second year, raised $1,625,000 for charity, surpassing the 2016 total by $535,500. Proceeds from the event go to the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation for distribution to charities. One of those charities this year is the Monsignor Thomas F. Campion Charitable Fund, a component of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, which received $5,000.

The Fund supports many projects throughout Monroe including the Monroe Arts Center, the Monroe Lions Club, local schools, Jacob's Swag Foundation, Wisconsin Badger Camp and much more.
The Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation was established in 2013 when Stricker became a brand ambassador for American Family Insurance. Its mission is to inspire and develop strong families and healthy kids so they can pursue their dreams.
