Camp Creation begins Aug. 12

MONROE - St. John's United Church of Christ's Camp Creation, a three-morning vacation Bible school, is scheduled for Aug. 12 through 14.

The camp is designed for kids of the ages from kindergarten through middle school and will run from 9 a.m. to noon each day. Aug. 12 will be spent at the Kiwanis Youth Cabin exploring the outdoors and nature. Aug. 13 will be spent at the farm of Dan and Angie Rieder and will allow children to feed the animals and take a hayride. Aug. 14 will be spent at Twining Park.

Children may sign up for one, two or all three days. The cost is $15 whether participants attend one, two or all three sessions and includes a Camp Creation T-shirt, snacks and supplies. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from each session.
