MONROE - Cammi Ganshert, a Monroe Middle School student, was awarded placement as a soprano in the Middle Level State Honors Choir.

Of the 1,300 students who auditioned, 108 were selected to be a member of the 2014 choir. The Wisconsin State Honors Music Project offers talented youth the opportunity to rehearse and perform with nationally-known conductors in a professional setting.

All Honors groups perform at the Wisconsin State Music Conference. Middle Level State Honors students receive their music in August and meet for the first time the day before their fall performance.

Rehearsal day and formal concert will take place in the Madison area.
