MONROE-Some seats are still available on the authentic Swiss Postauto that will be traveling to Milwaukee on Friday, July 25, for Germanfest. Featured at the event are 10 stages of top-notch German-style entertainment, including yodeling, accordions and bands; plus exhibits, demonstrations, food and markets.
Tickets for the trip, which is sponsored by the Swiss Heritage Series of the Turner Hall of Monroe, are $35 per person round-trip and include admission to Germanfest. The Postauto will leave the Turner Hall of Monroe at 1217 17th Avenue at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, with additional pick-ups in New Glarus and Madison, and be back in Monroe by approximately 10:30 p.m.
