MONROE - Persons may register for Blackhawk Technical College's community education non-credit classes starting on Monday, January 19, and Tuesday, January 20. Registration may be done online at the college's Web site, www.blackhawk.edu starting on January 19, but BTC campuses are closed that day in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The BTC Monroe Campus will be open on January 20 to accept community education course registrations. In a change in policy from past years, registrations for these classes were not accepted until these dates for classes starting from January 31 and on throughout the winter/spring semester.

Community education course information, including course descriptions, is currently available at the BTC web site.

A Community Education Course Schedule was mailed recently to some district residents and print copies are available at the BTC Monroe Campus and in other community locations.

Campus office hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
