BTC offering beverage service class

MONROE - Blackhawk Technical College's Monroe Campus offers the Responsible Beverage Service course five times in the new winter/spring 2009 semester. This four-hour class fulfills the Wisconsin Department of Revenue's Alcohol Beverage Bill (SB462) requiring successful completion by all new applicants/bartenders/operators before a license is issued. The class may also fulfill local ordinances where applicable.

The class is being offered monthly at the BTC Monroe Campus meeting from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday mornings. The first offering is for Saturday, January 31. Classes are also scheduled on February 28, March 28, April 25, and May 30. Registration may be done in-person at the BTC Monroe Campus located at 210 4th Avenue, or by mail using the form printed in the Community Education Course Schedule or the form available at the BTC Web site: www.blackhawk.edu. Registration may also be done online at the BTC Web site. For more information about BTC community education courses being offered in Monroe, call the Monroe Campus office at 328-1660. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
