BTC begins fall enrichment classes

MONROE - Now is a great time to go forward with that plan to learn something new, whether it be computer software, a language, a new hobby, or other career or personal enrichment knowledge. The Monroe Campus of Blackhawk Technical College has many classes for beginners coming up in the next few weeks. These include: Computer for Absolute Beginner starting Tuesday, Sept. 16, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. for five sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays; Drawing 101, starting Tuesday, Sept. 16, 6 to 8:30 p.m., meeting for six sessions; Spanish for Absolute Beginner, starting Thursday Sept. 18, 4 to 5:30 p.m., for 12 sessions; Digital Photography for Beginners, scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, meeting for three sessions; Watercolor Basics and Beyond, scheduled for 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, for eight sessions; and E-Bay: Buying and Selling Online, scheduled to start Thursday, Sept. 25, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. for four sessions.

For more information about these and other BTC classes, call the Monroe Campus office at 328-1660. Campus office hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

The campus is located at 21 4th Avenue on the northwest edge of the city.
