WHITEWATER - Sidney Steinmann from Brodhead, who is studying elementary education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, has received a scholarship to complete her last semester teaching abroad. Steinmann will be doing her student teaching in Sweden for part of the spring semester.

Students in the Sweden program are placed in a Swedish school with a cooperating teacher for four weeks. Students teach full days; they prepare units, lesson plans and teach various periods throughout the day.
