Breakfast proceeds for water tower

MONROE - An all-you-can-eat benefit breakfast for the Green County Historical Society and Museum will be held from 8 a.m. until noon on Sunday, Nov. 1, at the Monroe Moose Lodge, located behind Farm and Fleet. The benefit breakfast will cost $6 for adults, $3.50 for children ages 6 to 12, children under 6 are free. Breakfast includes, eggs, sausage, potatoes, French toast. Members of the Green County Historical Society will be serving the buffet breakfast.

Proceeds will be used for continuing restoration of the Lincoln Park Water Tower in Monroe.

The society will also have copies of its book, "Pictorial History of Monroe" at a cost of $25.
