Booth space available for upcoming Potpourri Market

BRODHEAD - The Friends of the Brodhead Public Library is hosting the Green County Country Potpourri Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning Saturday, May 18 at the Brodhead Public Library.

The vendors support the library and community by paying for the space to display fresh produce or handcrafted items for sale. All proceeds will go to the Brodhead Public Library for books, DVDs, CDs, magazines, free internet and other items, as well as many varied and interesting programs. The patrons of the market support their community by coming to a central location to encourage their friends and neighbors in their efforts to produce goods of value for the community.

There will be a courtesy booth for free water, lemonade and coffee. There will also be a community booth which will be available to local businesses to advertise or promote themselves.

There will be 11 market days from May 18 to Oct. 19. The seasonal rate for vendors is $50. Applications are available at the library or are downloadable at
