BRODHEAD - Brodhead Middle School eighth-grader, Lauren Blumer is a semifinalist eligible to compete in the 2013 Wisconsin National Geographic Bee.
Brodhead Middle School held its bee Jan. 18.
The 2013 Wisconsin National Geographic Bee will be held on Friday, April 5 in Madison. The state winner will receive $100, the complete national geographic on DVD and a trip to Washington, D.C. where he or she will represent Wisconsin in the national finals May 20-22.
Blumer is the daughter of Trent and Krishell Blumer, Albany.
