Bloodmobile gets 148 units

MONROE - There were 148 donors who presented themselves at the bloodmobile on Nov. 25 in Monroe. There was 148 productive units gathered, less than the 190-unit goal.

Milestone donors included James Cessna (4 gallons), Patricia Hamilton (5 gallons), Laura Hughes (7 gallons), Teresa Zimmer (9 gallons), Les Kruse (10 gallons), Judith Grabow (16 gallons) and Nathan Botteron (22 gallons).

Volunteers at the drive include National Honor Society students, Monroe Community United Methodist Church Women and Monroe Woman's Club. The next bloodmobile will be held from 11:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27 at the United Methodist Church.
