MONROE — The Monroe Community and the American Red Cross are hosting a blood drive from 12:30 to 6 p.m. on Aug. 22 and the Monroe Bible Church, 2613 8th Ave. 

Make an appointment now to lock in your time. Fill out a RAPIDPASS on the day of donating to help save up to 15 minutes. The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in the community.
