Blood drive exceeds goal

MONROE - Four new donors were among those donating blood at the bloodmobile in Monroe June 4. There were 212 donors who presented and 201 productive units gathered, more than the 190-unit goal.

First time donors were Jessica Brennan, Janet Frauchiger, Richard Leuzinger and Joseph Klein. The 2-gallon donor was Jennifer Scace. The 8-gallon donor was Matt Jenson. The 11-gallon donor was Steve Rackow. The 13-gallon donor was Joseph Klessinger. The 14-gallon donor was Fred Giese. The 15-gallon donor was Barb Jackson. The 24-gallon donor was Kathy Kuebli.

The next bloodmobile will be from 11:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17 at United Methodist Church, Monroe.
