MONROE - The American Red Cross bloodmobile held Monday, August 25, at the Monroe United Methodist Church received 217 productive units, falling just short of the goal of 220 units. Schwan's partnered with the Red Cross for a fundraising event. Each donor received an ice cream treat and their name was entered in a drawing for $100 or $200.
