Blood Donors

MONTICELLO - The Monticello blood drive held on June 13 had a very good turn out with 78 units collected. Due to recent flooding and water in the basement of Zwingli United Church of Christ, the blood mobile was held upstairs where there was less space and some had to be turned away because of time constraints.

First time donors were Katie Peterson, Todd Peterson, Laura Paulson, Brenda Decristina, Melody Feller, Katherine Hefty and Brett Hefty.

Donors receiving specific gallon marks are: Roger Brugger, 17 gallons, and Charles Sasso, 2 gallons.

The next bloodmobile in New Glarus is Aug. 18 and in Monticello on Oct. 17.
