MONROE — Blain’s Farm & Fleet emphasized its commitment to the local community with a donation of essential personal protective equipment (PPE) to the School District of Monroe this past weekend. The gesture coincided with the grand opening celebration of their newest location in Monroe.
The donation included over 7,000 units of disinfectant wipes and 4,000 KN95 5-pack masks, a total retail value of over $65,000. On behalf of the school district, Rich Zentner, Director of District Building and Grounds, and Ron Olson, Monroe School District Business Administrator, received the donation on Sunday, which will help the district safely finish the rest of the school year.
“Since 1964, Blain’s Farm & Fleet has proudly served Monroe, so we were thrilled to reinvest in a community that we share such strong ties,” said Jane Blain Gilbertson, Blain’s Farm & Fleet CEO, Owner and President. “We were overjoyed to not only celebrate our new store with the community but also to have the opportunity to give back to the School District of Monroe, assisting the district’s effort in keeping faculty, staff, and students safe in the classroom.”
Blain’s Farm & Fleet is proud to provide their long-term friends and neighbors within the Monroe community a new location featuring a modern store design, two-lane drive-thru, and updated service center. In addition, the new Monroe store spans more than 75,000 square feet, and customers can enjoy wider aisles, expanded products, and brands, as well as energy-efficient LED lighting for both the interior and exterior.
