Black Hawk takes third in Forensics tourney

SOUTH WAYNE - The Black Hawk Forensics team traveled to Sun Prairie High School on Saturday, Feb. 7 to participate in its third annual Forensics tournament.

Earning finalists medals were Savannah Ernzen and Sam Noble in play acting; Adrianna Hromadka, Nicole Kloepfer and Adam Moore in play acting; and Michael Wolff in radio speaking. Katie Place earned the third place trophy in poetry reading, and winning the first and second place trophies in serious solo acting were Jorden Rupnow and Priscila Riccardi, respectively.

Also participating for the team were Molly Bechtolt and Cody Foster in group interpretive reading; Savanna Kaster in farrago; Connor Moore in four-minute speaking; Aaron Monson in moments in history; Danielle Hagen, Mackenzie Monson, and Wade Wolff in play acting; Kate Quinn and Brittany Klemm in poetry reading; Thad Brenum in prose reading; Christian Krahenbuhl in radio speaking; and Hillary Holland in special occasion speaking. Judging for the team were Anthony Petitjean and Black Hawk alumni Brianna Ditzenberger and Fergus Chau. Members of the team will participate at the Six Rivers conference tournament at Pecatonica High School on Saturday, Feb. 14.
