FREEPORT — Colton Klemm and Grace Neff, graduating seniors from Black Hawk High School, have been given $1,000 Blackhawk Excellence scholarships each to attend Highland Community College in Freeport in the fall. Their scholarships were received at awards night May 16. 

Both students were in the top 10 percent of their class, allowing eligibility to receive the scholarships from the Highland Community College Foundation.
