SOUTH WAYNE - The Red Cross bloodmobile visited Black Hawk High School in South Wayne on June 9. Thirty-six people presented with the expected goal of 35 pints being collected. Six were deferred and five gave double units through Haemonetics.
Meeting milestones were Joan Walters, four gallons; James Mau, five gallons; and Randy Mau, 10 gallons. There were no first time donors.
Red Cross provided cookies and soda pop, Joyce Paulson provided sandwiches and Connie Meier provided cookies and sandwiches. Those helping for the day were Joyce Paulson, Susan Junk and Mary McKnight. Connie Meier is the coordinator.
