Daniel and Tina Loos of Dixon, Illinois, announce the birth of their son, Ellis James Loos. He was born at KSB Hospital in Dixon on Oct. 4 at 9:42 a.m., weighed 9 pounds and 7 ounces and was 22 inches long. Ellis joins a sister, Willow Carstensen, 13. Maternal grandparents are Carl and Carol Friederick of Hazel Green. Paternal grandparents are Linda (John) Pfund of Branson West, Missouri, and the late Gerald Loos.
