Robert and Mary Anderson of Champaign, Illinois, announce the birth of a son, Michael Walter Anderson, born at 5:38 p.m. Jan. 19 at Presence Covenant Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce.

Michael joins his siblings Rosalie, 8; Eloise, 6; and Beatrice, 3. Grandparents are Terry and Marti Nutter of Rockton, Illinois, and Wilma Anderson of Monroe.
