LENA - "Barnyard Roundup ... Jesus Gathers Us Together" is the 2016 Vacation Bible School theme at St. John's Lutheran Church, 625 Country Lane Drive in Lena. VBS will be from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Aug. 1 through 5 and is open to children 3 years old to those who have completed fifth grade.

Children will make new friends, do barn-related crafts and play "yippety-skippety" games. Barnyard-related snacks will be served, and children will enjoy skits and videos.

Bus service is available in Lena.
