AFTON - For a ninth year, the aroma of steak, eggs and cheesy potatoes will take over the grounds at Skip's Friendly Village, 5321 Jefferson St., Afton, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 27. The breakfast is held to benefit the programs and services of Beloit Regional Hospice.

Attendees will be treated to music by Bruce Olsen from 9 to 10 a.m. and the Bass Creek Boys from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Raffles and a silent auction will also be available.

The cost is $12 for steak, eggs, cheesy potatoes and toast and $7 for the meal without steak.

The fundraiser has raised more than $100,000 in the last eight years. All funds raised support Beloit Regional Hospice's Charity Care Program, which cares for any hospice-eligible patient regardless of their ability to pay.
