BELLEVILLE — Belleville Area Emergency Medical Services will host its annual EMS Family Fun Night Open House from 4 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20 at the EMS Station, 480 River Street.
The event helps connect the Belleville community with the first responders who work hard to keep us all safe.
This year’s Belleville EMS Family Fun Night is all about the community’s young people. There will be free bounce houses and slides, pony rides, a petting zoo, food, drinks, and sweet treats — ice cream, flavored lemonade, and all sorts of baked goods from Amanda’s Sweet Treats right here in Belleville.
For the older kids, UW MedFlight will land and provide tours of its medical helicopter and area fire and police agencies will be on hand, including the “Bearcat” from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office. The Aging and Disability Resource Center will also take part in what is sure to be both an educational and fun-filled evening for all.
Belleville Area EMS is working to raise funds for life saving medical equipment. The evening will culminate with winners drawn in our first ever raffle to try and help support these purchases. Donations are always welcome and helpful in supporting the work of Belleville Area EMS.
