MONROE - The Bel Canto Singers, directed by Allen Redford, will present their annual Christmas concert at 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Victor Church, 1760 14th Street. The event has been a choral tradition in the community since the group's start in 1979.

In addition to the choral works, the concert will feature accompanist Renee Setterstrom, organist Deborah Krauss Smith, violinist Robert Eversman and alto saxophonist Deb Krattiger. There also will be a duet by local sopranos Jane Olson and Tracy Bristow.

A sample of the Sunday evening concert can be heard at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Monroe Arts Center, 1315 11th Street. This is a joint concert of Christmas music with the Monroe Swiss Singers and coincides with the end of the MAC Holiday Silent Auction.

Bidding closes at 1:45 p.m. and high bidders will be announced after the concert.
