MONROE — The Bel Canto Singers will present their annual spring concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 13, at the Monroe Arts Center.

Allen Redford is the director, and Cindy Blanc accompanies the group. Violinist Robert Eversman will also be featured. The New Glarus High School Concert Choir, directed by Renee Setterstrom, will also perform.

The Bel Canto Singers have a long tradition with the Monroe Arts Center, first performing in the lovely concert hall in 1979. In the years since then, Bel Canto has grown from a small group of Monroe friends singing madrigals to an accomplished choir from a large stateline area. At the same time, the Monroe Arts Center has grown from a fledgling arts venue to a flourishing center of music, art, theater and arts education in an expanded, accessible facility.

Admission is $10 at the door. There are no advance ticket sales.
