Herb and Pat Baumgartner, Gratiot, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, Oct. 28.
Herb and the former Patti Erickson were married Oct. 28, 1961, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Gratiot.
Their children are David Baumgartner of South Wayne; Steve (Chrissy) Baumgartner of Oak Creek; John (Kristin) Baumgartner of Beloit; Mary (Dan) Monson of Wiota; and Jim (Brandi) Baumgartner of South Wayne.
They have 12 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. One grandson is deceased.
They celebrated with a family dinner Saturday, Oct. 29 at Flannery's Wilhelm Tell Club, New Glarus, where their wedding dance was held in 1961.
