MONROE - The Barn Quilts of Green County Wisconsin 2011 calendar is now available. The calendar features full-color photos of rural barn Quilts featured on Green County agricultural buildings.
Barn Quilt calendars are available for $10 at the University of Wisconsin Extension Office in the new Justice Center, 2841 6th St. in Monroe; or at Das Baumhaus on the south side of the Monroe Historical Square.
Green County Barn Quilts are a combined effort of the Green County Home & Community Education Group, Green County UW-Extension, and Green County Tourism.
Nearly 90 barn quilts have been painted and hung on barns county-wide, with approximately another 10 to be added soon.
