LENA - The Lena Historical Society, in conjunction with the Smithsonian Institution and the Illinois Humanities Council, is hosting an old-fashioned Barn Dance from 7 to 10 p.m., Saturday at the society's barn, 427 Grove Street.
An expert caller will give instructions and demonstrations, and sandwiches and beverages will be sold.
The dance is part of a series of local events coinciding with New Harmonies: Celebrating American Roots Music, a traveling exhibit of the Smithsonian Institution.
