MONROE - First Baptist Church of Monroe will a Thanksgiving service and dinner on Sunday, Nov. 18.
The Thanksgiving service will be at 10:45 a.m. at the church, 853 31st St., and the Thanksgiving community dinner will be at 1 p.m. at Northside Elementary School, 3005 8 1/2 St.
The meal is free and open to the public. The menu includes turkey and ham.
Any police or medical personnel on duty can stop by and the church will fix them a plate to go.
Nursery will be provided during the church service and transportation is available for those in need of a ride.
