NEW GLARUS - The Bank of New Glarus and Sugar River Banks announce the addition of Jance Marty, Erin Secord and Kristen Wedeen to their banking team.
Jance Marty joins the Bank of New Glarus as a loan officer. He brings strong banking skills having worked in the financial industry since 2001.
Marty was born and raised in Blanchardville and has strong family ties to the New Glarus community. He lives in New Glarus with his wife, Laura and three small children.
"I am happy to be working in the local community," he said.
Erin Secord, customer service representative, is the newest member of the customer service staff. She moved to the New Glarus area one year ago from Foley, Minnesota. She and her husband, Paul, have five children attending the New Glarus school district. The family lives in the Monticello area. Secord sees working at the Bank of New Glarus as a great opportunity to meet people in the community.
Kristen Wedeen is the new loan officer at the Sugar River Bank in Belleville. She recently moved from New Glarus to Belleville and will be married in April to Mike Christen. She has one son, Joshua, who is 16.
Wedeen is excited to be working in Belleville having had seven years banking experience in Madison. "Hometown banking is the best. I know many of our customers, and banking is a relationship business," she said.
