SOUTH WAYNE — Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of South Wayne is sponsoring a bake sale from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 16 at the Woodford State Bank locations in Monroe and South Wayne.

All proceeds from the sales will go to Carson Hartwig, a Darlington eighth-grader who is going through chemotherapy. New treatment options are on the horizon. He is the son of Heath and Jamie Hartwig.

To help offset the costs that the family has and will incur, Our Savior’s has planned the fundraising bake sale. Donations of baked good are welcomed by organizers. They can be brought to either location at 8:30 a.m. or the church the previous day, Friday, March 15 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
