Back Street Players to stage Yuletide tales

ORANGEVILLE - Back Street Players, in conjunction with Northwest Illinois Theater Coalition, will present "Tales of the Yuletide" at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29 and Saturday, Nov. 30 and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1 at Masonic Hall, 203 High St.

"Tales of the Yuletide" is a collection of holiday skits and songs. Characters will share their stories of Christmas preparations and aggravations.

Reservations are preferred for the dessert theater show. Tickets are $20 and are available by contacting the Monroe Arts Center at 608-325-5700.

Other performances include:

n At 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5 and Friday, Dec. 6 at Metcalf Hall on the Campbell Center Campus, Mount Carroll. Advance tickets are $10 and are available by contacting Stockton Banking Center at 815-947-2000 or the National Bank in Mt. Carroll at 815-244-2265. Tickets will be available at the door for $12.

n At 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8 at Hanover Township Hall, 111 Monroe St., Hanover. Reservations are required by contacting Apple River State Bank at 815- 591-2201. Tickets for the dessert theater is $12.
