BRODHEAD - The city's annual AutumnFest celebration is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 29.
The farmers/craft market, pumpkin bowling and other children's activities, an inflatable jumper, a petting zoo and a scavenger hunt will begin at 9 a.m.
Trick-or-treating at participating businesses will be available from 10 a.m. to noon.
Food stands will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The chili contest will be held from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with public participation voting. The chili winners will be announced at 2:45 p.m.
A beer tent will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The State Line Playboys will entertain from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hayrides through Brodhead will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A costume parade will begin at noon at the gazebo.
