ALBANY - Author Eric Schlehlein will present "Forged in Blood: How the Iron Brigade Earned its Metallic Moniker" at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 9 at Albertson Memorial Library, 200 N. Water St.
Schlehlein is the author of "Black Iron Mercy," a work of historical fiction about the Civil War experience told through the flashbacks of an Iron Brigade soldier from the sixth Wisconsin Volunteer regiment.
