Audubon Society to host program about man's 700-mile canoeing trip

MONROE - The Green-Rock Audubon Society will host a program by naturalist and explorer John Bauman at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23 at the First National Bank and Trust, 1625 10th St.

Bauman, originally from Monroe, will present "Arctic Odyssey: Canoeing the Rivers and Coast of the Northwest Territories," detailing his seven-week, 700-mile canoe expedition through the tundra of the Northwest Territories.

The program is free and open to the public.
