MONROE - Green-Rock Audubon Society will have an outing at 6 p.m. today to the Ivan Gobeli prairie gardens and aviary at N2028 Steiner Road, Monroe. Ivan and Mariene have created a landscape that is a magnet for birds, butterflies and other wild creatures, along with fish ponds, a dovecote and exotic birds.

Directions from Monroe: follow Wisconsin 69 south one half mile to Franklin Road; turn right onto Franklin Road, travel 3.2 miles to Steiner Road, turn left, Gobeli 's is first place on left. The public is welcome.
