FREEPORT- The Freeport Art Museum will host its 21st annual Wine, Cheese and Chocolate Tasting from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8 at the museum, 121 N. Harlem Ave.
The event is sponsored by Baumgartner's Cheese Store and Tavern, Monroe, as well as Royal Liquor and Cacao Cuvee.
There will be a variety of fine wines, world-class cheeses and chocolates. All guests to the event will also receive a commemorative wine glass, and a silent auction featuring specialty wine, cheese and chocolate gifts will be held.
Proceeds from the event support The Freeport Art Museum's mission to promote art and culture in Freeport and Northwest Illinois. The museum supports artists, exhibitions and its collection through fundraising, special gatherings and educational events.
Tickets prices are $20 for members; $23 for non-members; and $25 at the door. New museum members receive one free ticket to the Wine, Cheese and Chocolate Tasting. Current members will be eligible for two free tickets to the event.
