EIE fundraiser slated for Nov. 2
MONROE - Monroe Excellence in Education Foundation is sponsoring a fundraiser at Papa Murphy's, on Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 122 8th St., Monroe.
For each pizza bought with cash on Wednesday, Nov. 2, Papa Murphy's will donate $2 to the foundation, which supports extended and innovative educational opportunities in the School District of Monroe.

SOUTH WAYNE - The Wiota Firemen's Auxiliary will be celebrating its 40th anniversary on Monday, Nov. 7 at the Wiota Firehouse, 9830 Park St. There is a potluck lunch at noon.
Past and present members, as well as anyone else in the community, are invited to come and join the celebration.
