Kids program to meet on Fridays
MONROE - More Than Conquerors Kid's Program will meet every Friday through the school year from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Northside Elementary, 3005 8 1/2 Street, Monroe.
The program is sponsored by First Baptist Church of Monroe and is free for students in kindergarten through seventh grade. The night starts with a light supper followed by games, Bible lessons and other activities.
A bus is provide to pick up and drop off students. More information is available by calling (608) 325-2250.

Halloween story time set for Oct. 25
MONROE - A special Halloween story time will be presented by Kris Ault, youth services coordinator, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, at the Monroe Public Library, 925 16th Ave., Monroe.
The program is free and no registration is required.
Slightly Spooky Stories is for children ages 3 to 8. The one-hour program will feature not-so-scary stories, songs and rhymes. The evening will include a costume parade through the library, an opportunity to make Halloween crafts, and treats. Adults are asked to stay with their children, in or out of costume.
