Gospel music night slated for May 13

APPLE RIVER, Ill. - First Presbyterian Church of Apple River will host an evening of gospel music from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, May 13 at the church, 210 W. Baldwin St.

This will be the first music night of the season, and will feature "The Broege Sisters."

The second portion of the evening will be open for anyone wishing to play or sing. The event is open to the public.

Group to show "Consider the Conversation'

DARLINGTON - The Home and Community Education association will be hosting the PBS Documentary "Consider the Conversation," a film about living life to its fullest up to the end, at 7 p.m. Monday, May 7 at the Talmer Bank Community Room, 15815 Wisconsin 81.

The film is intended to be thought-provoking and to jump-start difficult conversations with loved ones and doctors. More information is available by contacting the UW-Extension at (608) 776-4820.
