Strawberry Social set for June 12

MCCONNELL - The Annual McConnell Strawberry Social will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 12 at the McConnell United Methodist Church Hall located at 211 N. Hulbert Rd in McConnell. The public is invited.

The menu will include pork chop sandwiches, BBQ sandwiches, hot dogs, coney dogs, potato salad, baked beans, cheese, homemade pie, cake, beverages, and strawberries and ice cream.

Carry outs are available. The church is handicapped accessible.

WARREN

Grief group to meet June 2

WARREN - Journey's Grief Support Group for adults meets at the Warren Community Building each month for a confidential time of sharing with others who have experienced loss in their lives. The next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2. The topic with be "Going Through Bereavement - When a Loved One Dies."

Anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one is encouraged to attend these meetings for support and comfort. It is recommended individuals wait at least three to four months after the loss to attend. The meetings are free and the facility is handicap accessible.
