Honor Society holds presentation
LENA - Lena-Winslow High School's Chapter of the National Honor Society will hold their Honors Night presentation at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, in the high school gym.
Awards to all classes in subject areas will be presented, as well as citizenship awards. Scholarships from colleges and universities along with many local scholarships will be awarded.
The public is invited to attend at no charge.

Volunteers needed for park cleanup
Volunteers are needed to help with a work day, 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, at Cadiz Springs State Recreation Area, in order to have the park looking nice before Memorial Day weekend.
Work projects include, picking up litter and branches, and some painting.
Participants should wear sturdy gloves and mark any tools they bring with their last names.
Cold soft drinks will be supplied by Friends of Cadiz Springs State Recreation Area.
