Church plans Sunday concert
FREEPORT - The Richland Free Methodist Congregation is offering a Valentine Sunday concert and free continental breakfast Sunday, Feb. 13.
The Rische family of rural Orangeville will present a bluegrass concert of gospel music at 10:15. Breakfast will be served at 10:05; attendees may take their breakfast to their pews to listen to the music.
The event is open to the public. The church is located on Richland Road between Red Oak and Scheider Roads.

Dance classes for children, adults
MONROE - The Monroe Parks and Recreation dance class is offering dance classes for children and adults.
Dance classes for children start Sunday, Feb. 13 and continue on Sunday through April 10. Classes are taught by Becca Flannery and Hanna Knutson. All classes cost $27 for residents and $37 for non-residents.
Classes are: Disney Dance Club, boys and girls, 3 years and older, 5 to 5:40 p.m.; Pretty, Pretty Princess, 3- and 4-year-olds, 5:45 to 6:25 p.m.; and Pretty, Pretty Princess II, 4 years and older, 6:30 to 7:05 p.m..
Adult ballroom dance lessons will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on April 4, 11, 18 and 25 at the Behring Senior Center. Judy and Gil Oberdas will teach participants the fox trot, waltz, swing, polka and schottische. The class is limited to 12 couples. A partner is required; single registrants may call 329-2460 so the rec department can try to find a partner for them. Cost of the class is $48 for residents and $63 for non-residents.
