MONROE - Screening and application assistance for FoodShare (Food Stamps) is available from 2 to 4:30 p.m. every Monday, at the Green County Food Pantry, 1015 15th Ave., Monroe. Additionally, assistance will be available at the following locations.

Monthly Manna slated for Aug. 19
DARLINGTON - As part of a year-round series, Holy Rosary Church - 104 E. Harriet St., Darlington - will host "Monthly Manna" from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19. "Monthly Manna" is held year-round, on the third Friday of every month.
Mobile Food Pantry items include fresh product, canned goods, breads and meat. All are welcome to the free event, and no qualifications are needed. Attendees should bring their own containers to take food home in.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be held at the Darlington American Legion building, 1400 Keep St., Darlington.

Silent auction gifts due by Aug. 23
ALBANY - Silent Auction baskets have returned to the Albertson Memorial Library. Bidding begins on Sept. 15. Those interested in making auction donations should turn them in to the library by Aug. 23.

Annual rummage sale set for Aug. 13
BRODHEAD - The Brodhead Area EMS will hold its annual rummage sale fundraiser from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, during Covered Bridge Days at the EMS Training Center, 1003 12th St., Brodhead.
Proceeds from the sale will be used for updating equipment with current technology and training to respond to emergencies with reliable care.
Any unsold items will be donated to Easter Seals.
